Type in this morning's journal to start off. Then answer these questions: 1. How are your feelings about moving similar to Panchito's? 2. How are they different?
I've only moved once but ended up back in the same house. I was a baby about 1-2 when I lived there so I have no memory of what happened. The only thing I know is what I've seen in pictures. I've seen my first snow day ( which was in that house). I've seen a picture with a bottle of vicks in my mouth. I've seen pictures with my mom and parts of the house. All of them looks like I'm happy, But pictures sometimes lie. My mom told me how I was sad because of my dad......
1)The only similarity was that we were both sad. 2)The difference is that he moved far but I lived close to my other house.
I had to move from Georgia but i didn't wanted to because i was surrounded by alot of family member and had alot of friends and love the school that i was going to and the houses in georgia they had trees all around them and big back yards with grass the back yards was like a small forest .My strongest memory when i ride my BMX down the drive way and all around the house that was about a week before i moved.I felt sad because i was moving for away from my friend and fun in away because i was moving to new york city people talk about it all the time and it sound fun.
i did have to move. but when i moved i was like 12 years old.the stongest memory that i have is when i told my friends and we all started crying. i felt really sad because those were my best friends i was 3 years old. me and them did everything toghether. for example we went to the movies to see every cartoon that came out, we would go outside and get wet in the summer by the fire hydrant, and like every weekend we would go to the park and pick on my brothers and sisters.
the way that me and the story is different because i had friends that i didnt want to leave. and in the story the boy really didnt have any friends. And also in the story when i moved i went right to school as soon as i moved there. and when the boy moved he had to work in the grape field.
How are your feelings about moving similar to Panchito's?I feel kind of the same way my onoly different is that i find moving some thing can be a fun adventure meeting new people and seeing new place sometime can be fun.basilous
